These Terms and Conditions apply to every sale between NSC and its customers. There will be no variations to these terms and conditions unless explicitly stated in writing by NSC.

Trading Names


Our legal business name is The English Saddle Company Limited; we trade under the names ‘NSC – The English Saddle Co’ and ‘NSC’.

Content

Whilst we do our best to supply correct information on this website at all times, mistakes, errors or omissions may occur. NSC takes no responsibility for any loss or damage, direct or indirect, resulting from the use or application of information contained on this site.

Pricing

Prices shown on the NSC website are listed in New Zealand dollars, and are inclusive of GST. We reserve the right to change or alter any prices at any time for any reason. Any variation to an order (once accepted) will result in price adjusting to reflect the variation.

Payment

NSC will accept full payment only for any online order made within New Zealand. Payment can be made via any of the payment options listed on the website.  You are also welcome to pay via online banking.  These details will be sent with all order confirmations. 

Please be aware that there may be a 24 hour delay on the shipping of orders paid for via online banking as we wait for that money to clear.  

​Product Range and Availability

All efforts will be made to fulfil any order placed with NSC; however, we accept no responsibility or liability should we be unable to supply the goods ordered for any reason.

Warranty

Goods are warranted from defective workmanship and material provided that the goods are unmodified in anyway and are used for the purpose intended by the manufacturer. The warranty covers replacement or repair of the product itself provided that NSC is satisfied that the defects were defects in manufacture or in transit.

​Warranties will not be extended beyond that of the manufacturer’s warranty period or conditions. The warranty is limited to replacing or repairing any defective goods with the procedure set out in these terms and conditions, provided that NSC is satisfied that the defects were defects in manufacture or in transit.

Delivery and Delivery Charges

NSC currently use Courier Post for all of our deliveries. We only deliver to NZ addresses as standard. For international orders please contact us on contact@nsc.net.nz and we will do our best to help. 

​Delivery times vary depending on the destination but are usually within 1 – 5 working days, some rural/RD address can take another day, if you have any queries on your delivery, let us know and we will look into it for you.

Cancellation of Orders

If you wish to cancel an order after you have made payment, but before your order has been shipped, we can do this and there will be a 5% admin fee (based on your total order amount excluding shipping). 

Returns/Amendments to Orders

If you find once you have confirmed your order, you would like to add to or alter the order we will do our upmost to change this for you, but we may not always be able to. 

​If you find you need to change something, contact us immediately and we will do our best for you. Once you have received your goods, we are happy to exchange them for you if you have changed your mind. For the purposes of such exchanges:

  • ​The goods being exchanged must be returned to NSC in the original condition as supplied to you.
  • The goods being exchanged can be used as a store credit with NSC.
  • You must meet all postage costs for both the return of your original purchase as well as the dispatch of the replacement goods.
  • Returns or change of mind exchanges are not available on sale or clearance goods once your order has been placed.  

​​Every order that is dispatched from NSC is checked to ensure the products are in the correct condition, however customers have the right to return any goods deemed faulty or damaged in transit for a replacement. The following conditions apply terms returned in these circumstances:

  • ​Where goods are being returned due to a fault or damage, they must be in original condition.
  • Where return is due to a fault, the customer must contact NSC within 5 working days of receiving the product.

​NSC will cover the postage costs involved for the return and replacement of any faulty or defective goods.

7 Day Exchange/Return Policy for Accessories

We know it can be tricky to get the right size, or know if you will like something before you have seen it. We are pleased to offer a 7 Day Exchange or Return period (excludes all leathercare products).

Simply send the unused item/s back to us (contact NSC for address for returns on contact@nsc.net.nz) in the exact same condition you received them in (also applies to any tags or packaging) and let us know if you would like another size/colour or would like a refund. 

​To take up this offer you MUST return the items to us within 7 working days, no exceptions. Return shipping and shipping on any replacement items is at your cost. 

Privacy

Personal Information

Through conducting its normal business, NSC may collect customer information including purchase history, contact and delivery details. This information will remain confidential and will be held securely and will not be disclosed to any third party.

Customer Consent

Customers who do not wish to have any personal information collected and used for any purpose other than that required to complete the transaction will need to express this in writing at the time of purchase.


Access to Personal Information
​Personal information relating to the customer is available under the Privacy Act 1993, and the customer may request changes to the information held.
