Buying a Used NSC?

Check the serial number first to confirm authenticity and specifications. This tool is only for NSC saddles originating in New Zealand.
For expert advice before purchasing, speak to an NSC Expert to avoid common pitfalls.

Important Notes

  • Serial numbers began in 2008, however some numbers between 2008 and 2017 were not recorded.
  • Pre-2017 saddles may have ‘bench’ numbers, which cannot be used for identification.
  • The numbers on the stirrup bar relate to the British Safety Standard for the stirrup bar, and are not a serial number.
  • Some numbers may have rubbed off.
  • Width shown is as at manufacture. Saddles may have been altered since.
  • There are also saddle companies trading as NSC in England, Canada and North America. Whilst originating with the same founder, these are under separate ownership are not linked in any way to NSC Saddles NZ, nor are the current saddles made by the same manufacturers.
