Where it all began
At NSC we’ve taken two great things and them even better – by uniting two leading names in the New Zealand saddle scene: National Saddle Centre NZ and The English Saddle Company Ltd.
Founded back in 1992 in the UK by Josephine Dancy, the National Saddle Centre brought its innovative mobile saddle fitting concepts to New Zealand in 2002, swiftly becoming the nation’s most trusted mobile saddle fitting service.
In 2010, Catherine Baxter launched The English Saddle Company with a mission to offer a diverse range of premium, affordable, handcrafted English leather saddles in New Zealand. This endeavor was fueled by the growing popularity of horses with unique shapes—broad, barrel-shaped, no wither, flat backs, and large shoulders.
Today, as NSC – The English Saddle Co, we proudly serve as your go-to specialist saddle provider in New Zealand, offering unmatched expertise and experience.
