NSC Direct Saddle Sales – Terms and Conditions

Welcome to NSC, where we bring you the best in quality saddles and expert advice, delivered straight to your door. The following outlines how we will work with you and ensure your experience is as smooth and straightforward as possible. By placing an order with us, you’re agreeing to the following terms. 1. Placing an Order

  • How to Order: When you place an order with us, we’ll send you an email to let you know we’ve received your order. Please note, this doesn’t mean we’ve confirmed your order just yet, but don’t worry; we’ll take care of everything as quickly as possible! We’ll be in touch within to business days to go over all the details and make sure you get what you need.
  • Payment: All payments are processed securely through our gateway. You’ll be charged at the time of order placement, unless you have opted to pay by invoice. We accept credit and debit cards for your convenience.

2. Saddle Trials and Returns

  • 7-Day Trial Period: We want you to love your new saddle, so we offer a 7-day trial period starting from the day it’s delivered. This gives you time to get familiar with it and see if it is the right fit for you and your horse. This is the time to work with an experienced and qualified professional saddle fitter who can advise you on suitability. We can offer recommendations based on your area, or offer a ‘virtual’ saddle fitting option.
  • Trial Fee: To help cover our admin costs and very slight wear and tear, a $100 trial fee will be deducted from your refund if you decide to return the saddle. Don’t worry, this will be clear and transparent when you start the return process.
  • What We Expect on Returns: Saddles returned after the trial should have only very slight signs of use and have all the parts intact that were sent to you with the saddle (cover, knee blocks etc). We get it, you need to ride in it to try it! But if there’s significant wear or damage, the saddle won’t be eligible for a refund without further deductions. 
  • Return Process: If you need to make a return, simply contact us within 7 days of delivery. We’ll guide you through how to send the saddle back. Return shipping is at your cost, unless you are returning under warranty.

3. Fit Confirmation and Saddle Selection

  • Let’s Get the Right Fit: We want to make sure the saddle you choose is the best choice for both you and your horse. After you place your order, we’ll check in with you to confirm your selection and help ensure it’s the best fit. If you are certain of your choice and don’t need any extra help, that’s great too and you can let us know when we get in touch. If you’re find you need help at any point in the process, or at any time afterwards, just reach out to us; we’re happy to help, including recommending regional NSC Accredited fitters who also have expert level knowledge and experience with our saddles.
  • Personalised Support: Need a new saddle but not sure which one is right for you? No problem! You can always ask us for help or recommendations. We’re here to provide all the support you need to make the right choice for your and your horse’s comfort, performance and enjoyment.

4. Trade-in Program

  • Trading in Your Old Saddle: Ready for an upgrade? We accept trade-ins of qualifying NSC saddles to use as a credit toward your new purchase.  We can also help you value your saddle for sale if you prefer to sell privately, or put you in touch with an NSC Approved Sale On Behalf Service. 
  • How It Works: Simply send us your old saddle, and we’ll assess it. If it’s in good condition, you’ll receive credit to use on your new saddle! 5. Warranty and Aftercare

  • Our Guarantee: We stand behind every saddle we make. All new NSC saddles come with a 5-year warranty on the tree and a 1-year warranty on materials and workmanship. If anything’s wrong due to craftsmanship or materials, we’ve got it covered. See Full Warranty Information

  • Service Records: If you ever need to make a warranty claim, we may ask for service records (e.g., fitting notes) to ensure everything is in tip-top shape, so we recommend keeping these in a safe place.

6. Delivery and Shipping

  • Shipping Times: Once your order is placed, if your saddle is in stock, we’ll aim to ship it out within 5 business days of us getting in touch with you to confirm your order. You’ll receive tracking details so you can follow your saddle’s journey to your door. If your saddle needs to be ordered, we’ll talk this through when we call you.
  • Shipping Costs: Shipping costs will be calculated at checkout based on your location, and we’ll make sure you’re always aware of the total shipping costs before you confirm your order. And don’t forget – some orders qualify for free shipping, which will be highlighted during checkout!

7. Order Cancellations

  • Need to Cancel?: We understand that life happens. If you need to cancel your order, please get in touch with us as soon as possible. If the order has already been processed or shipped, we’ll guide you through our return process instead.
