These girths are for use with saddles with short girth straps, and are designed to fasten around half-way up the lower saddle flap. They are measured from the ends of the buckles.

Fitting
These girths are measured from the ends of the buckles. Long girths are designed to girth up to the middle of the saddle flap on saddles with short girth straps. Short girths are designed to girth up clear of the horse’s elbow and below the saddle flap, on saddles with long girth straps.

The innovative looped keeper design ensures durability and prevents breakage. Available in both rich brown and classic black.
These girths are for use with saddles with long girth straps, and need to be long enough so that the buckles are above and clear of the horse’s elbow, and not so long that the end could cause pinching with the base of the saddle flap or interference with the rider’s leg. They are measured from the ends of the buckles.

If you love the slim feel under your leg of a mono stirrup leather (also know as webbers) and need your gear to be hardwearing then these are for you!
Extra thickness reinforced with a strong nylon webbing core and a traditional buckle (so less wear on the holes than with a t-bar) mean that these will work as hard as you do.
In the same beautifully soft yet strong Italian Calf leather as our standard stirrup leathers to reduce wear on your saddle flaps and boots and be smooth against your leg.
18 holes spaced at 2cm intervals allow you to find your most comfortable leg placement.
IMPORTANT! Due to the stronger webbing core these leathers require a stirrup opening of at least 6mm.
