We heard your cries that you love the rider feel of the close contact foam/latex panels of the European style saddles but don’t want to lose the sympathetic and customisable fit of traditional wool.

So keeping the horses back in mind, we have found a compromise to keep everyone happy – a revolutionary wool Pro Panel, that can be flocked to fit your horse, but still feels close for you like latex!

Crafted with passion and precision, the SR saddle range has been developed utilising the finesse and expertise of Society of Master Saddlers Master Saddlers and Saddle Fitters alongside some of New Zealand’s top riders.

This collection is brought to life by the hands of Adam Ellis, a master of saddle making from the UK, who infused his dedication and craftsmanship into every piece during his time in New Zealand, ensuring each saddle design is a bespoke creation for the unique needs of the NZ Sporthorse.

These saddles are sculpted from the finest Italian Calf leather, chosen for its luxurious, supple feel that embraces you like an old friend, promising unparalleled comfort and a secure grip.

The SR ‘Tors’ model, with its monoflap design, brings you as close as possible to your horse, ensuring minimal interference.

The innovative girthing system in this saddle ensures a responsive fit, maximizing both stability and comfort, whilst the minimalist moulded block and open seat ensure maximum freedom of movement for you.

Fitting guide: This saddle suits horses with a medium to high amount of curve and medium to high withers.
